Monday Poem:::::::::::::: [ Your Body ]
Manohar Bhatia
Friends,
Here is my Monday Poem...........I hope you enjoy it.I will be most grateful to know where I have gone wrong and necessary critical comments.........
.__[ Your Body ]__
Man, woman, human body,
marvellous,wonderful machinery,
worth paying a visit insides?
be an invisible being
to enter your beautiful body
and understand its functioning.
Take a fantastic tour
of your engaging head,
watch nerves,criss-crossing
each other like laser beams,
lighted up,shinning brightly,
pat the nerves, make them comfortable.
Go to cerebrum and cerebellum,
for study,inquiry,curiousity,
see soft tissues of cerebrum,
layer upon layer awesomely
interwoven by Mother Nature,
not touching them,but blessing.
Continue your journey,
travelling to your heart,
say 'hello' for unbounded love,
hear its beatings,Kahump,Kahump,
to know its pumping of blood,
if heart is happy, then link of health.
Step down to your stomach,
careful not to get entangled
in small,large intestines,
just touch these strong
intertwined fleshy ropes
making sure for perfect order.
Now make way to kidney,liver,
performing complicated tasks,
manipulating urine,blood,gas,
for peak health and looks,
consider them as your children
planting a gentle kiss upon them
Don't ever burden them,
with unlimited tasks,
but give them excellent comfort,
by eating in moderation,
so that food is processed
easily, quickly for digestion.
Lastly, always take
of water for proper nourishing,
assimilating,refreshing,
every cell in your body,
so as to ride it,
to the pink of health.
Make a note of this fabulous journey
by uploading everything
on your mobile phone
to be watched as complete
movie, again and again!

Manohar,
an interesting journey indeed, the ending about uploading it to your mobile phone was very funny.
As for critique...all I can say is two words...SPELL CHECK!wonderful is misspelled in the first stanza, insides should be inside, in second stanza shinning should be shining, in 5th stanza entangles should be entangled.
Great advice about eating in moderation and drinking plenty of water,

Manohar,
Your choice of topics and the inspiration is so typically you, even the way you handle the subject. It is like your calling card.

I think "wondersful" is deliciously misspelled.
A nice tour of a close friend's anatomy, Manohar. Very inventive.

Manohar:
Very creative thinking.
[Lastly, always take plentyof water
for proper nourishing,assimilating,
refreshing,
every cell in your body,
so as to ride it,
to the pink of health.]
How true that water is very essential to good health, for every cell in our bodies.
We are, as the Bible says, fearfully and wonderfully made.

I appreciate and thank you for your comments.

Manohar,
What an interesting way of looking at the "other" us- the inside. You did a great job and it was entertaining and I like that.

Monday Poem____ "The Frowning Masquito"
Manohar Bhatia
[The Frowning Masquito]"
[ What is a frowning masquito doing
in a crowd of colorful butterflies?
While the butterflies
do not know how to buzz,
this male masquito goes
about his job in a majestic way.
His buzzing is
musical in sound and
pleasing to the ear.
Thank God, he is a
male masquito,harming none but himself.
What about the character
of a female masquito?
its a kind of a gnat that
bites and sucks blood
from men and animals.
And have you seen the face
of a female masquito?
She has a smile that is
as deceptive as a mirage in a desert,
still and deep as an ocean,
as fake as a man
playing a game of poker!]

Your humor is well-written. I like your term "frowning mosquito". It conjures up strange pictures. I agree with Ayub: better not know mosquitoes at all. If they like you you're in trouble! And like Diane, I didn't know it was only the female that bites. Shame on those ladies! Thanks for sharing your poem.

Monday Poem::::::::::::::: [" If You Want to......"]
Hello,
This is a poem which can be made into a good song by installing some musical notes.......perhaps a lyrcist can help.
[" If You Want To....................."]
[[ If you want to sing,
sing your best song
to bring music to your ears.
If you want to walk,
put your best foot forward
and bring a spring in your walk.
If you want to talk,
make your talk so sweet
that it tastes better than sugar.
If you want to work
make your work a worship
as if praying before God.
If you want a friend,
make your friendship
a bond of love, trust, understanding.
If you want to sleep
sleep like a baby,
innocent, happy and loving.
If you want to cook
put love into your food
so that there is taste, beauty & presentation.
If you want to be happy
make the happy first,
to see happiness drifting to you.
If you want peace in world
first put your inner self at peace,
to experience a peaceful world.
If you want to enjoy
extend your enjoyment
by stretching your thought as far.
If you want time
put yourself in timeless machine,
where there is no end!
If you want to taste success
make others successful first,
as we are all inter-connected.]]

Monday Poem_____________ [" Nature Calling"]
#
Manohar Bhatia
_______ ["Nature Calling"]_________
[Overflowing clouds with multitude of clouds
floating endlessly against ther blue
with gentle wind,cooling our noses,cheeks,eyes.
Colorful flowers like a rainbow
dot the landscape of happy earth
inviting the visitors for merging,melting.
Wet grass caused by morning dew
brings thrill to your delicate feet
as these take a long walk on green.
Singing leaves, aided by droplets of rain falling & filtering from above
creating soft music to your ears.
Dancing fountains are a delightto watch from a distance fitted
with dazzling lights of colored bulbs.
Nodding trees are talking to you
like your long lost friend and
waiting for your re-connect.
Contended smiles with friendly handshakes
are meeting in joyful gardens of laughter clubs
for peace, solitude, happiness or otherworldlyness!
Yes man, go, go go
Nature is calling!]

Manohar:I just got the notification of your post. You have written on a subject that draws me. I love to be out in nature though I don't get the chance nearly as often as I could wish. I especially like the lines:
"Singing leaves, aided by dropletsof rain falling & filtering from above
creating soft music to your ears."
If it wasn't already time for bed I might just try to find some excuse to go out into the country and take some more pictures. Actually in my city (population over 375,000)we have many "wilderness" areas, parks and conservation areas that make it the next-best thing to living in the country. It's known as the Forest City, so you have a little idea of what it's like here.
